Lake Time With The Family

We had such a wonderful fun day with the family. We decided to go to the lake to celebrate the last day of July 2015. The weather was 8oF. The water was cool, but when we went in it was comfortable. The sun was not too hot on our skin. It was a beautiful sunny day. We could not have ask for anything more. I love taking photos to remember all our special moments we share as a family. I am putting a album "Summer 2015" to remember all the fun we had this Summer. We went to the lake treat store and bought Cotton Candy ice cream it was delicious!.What to do in Beltzville State Park. Beltzville State Park is a 2,972-acre facility developed around the US Army Corps of Engineers flood control project, Beltzville Dam, in Carbon County. Beltzville Lake is 949 acres with a shoreline of 19.8 miles.Wooded and open picnic areas are available at the Pine Run West Day Use Area. Modern comfort stations, water and sanitary systems, parking areas and day use mooring areas for boat access are provided. Playfields are situated around the wooded picnic area with a children's playground located between picnic shelter #4 and the beach. Hunting, trapping and dog training is permitted on 1,707 acres of the park. Popular game species are pheasants, rabbits, ruffed grouse, waterfowl and deer. Beltzville Lake is stocked with warm and cold water game fish. Favorite species are trout, striped bass, large and smallmouth bass, walleye, muskellunge, and perch. Most types of recreational boats are permitted on the lake. Waterskiing is permitted in a designated area. A three-lane boat launching ramp, courtesy docks, wide gravel beaching area, and parking for cars and trailers are provided at Pine Run.
