Happy Thanksgiving 2013
I am thankful for my little Princess, my husband, loving family and friends. My health, and all the beauty that surrounds me every day. On Wednesday I made sugar cookies with my little Princess and we decorated them. Ate some and save some for Thanksgiving. On Wednesday we went to church service at 7 P.M. After the service we had a reception for another church. Lots of sweet. I took some homemade carrot cake. We got home around 9P.M. We spend our time with friends during 3 events. On the 22 of November we had a Thanksgiving lunch with the people of my community. We took 3 roasted chickens to share. Lots of Latin food. Everything was yummy. This event lasted from 12 to 3P.M. Then we went to the YMCA from 6 to 8P.M. I did one hour of Zumba and at 7P.M we had Thanksgiving Dinner. I made potatoes salad and carrot cupcakes. Yummy food too. The third event was Thanksgiving Eve service at our church on the 27th of November. Last year 2012, I cook the turkey took a photo with my family and took it to my brothers house to celebrate. Today we decide to stay home just the 3 of us. We celebrated Thanksgiving and watch the Macy's Thanksgiving parade. I woke up at 5:30A.M and put the turkey in the oven. At 3 P.M I put everything on the table: Turkey,Honey Ham, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, stuffing, Pumpkin pie, apple strudel pie, Raspberry bread, We had wiped cream and Pumpkin ice cream to go along with the pies. The table look beautiful all the food serve in my fine china. I took photos with my little Princess and husband. Then I said a prayer for our food and we each said what we are thankful for. My husband said for his family. My little Princess said " for my family and ham" I said " my family, friends and health". The meal was delicious. We only ate once and save the rest of the food for another day.

ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving --such yummy food.
You are welcome Pat. We did have a wonderful thanksgiving with our family. The food was yummy. We played hide and seek with our little Princess. She loves to hide her little Pet Shop and have her Dad and I find it. Then we did the same for her. We played a lot with her. Thankful that we get to spend sweet moments like this with her.
